The safety explosion-proof airflow pulverizing system uses inert gas as the airflow grinding medium to achieve ultra-fine pulverization of dry materials. The system mainly consists of a compressor, storage tank, hopper, pulverizing unit, cyclone separator, collector, and automatic control system.
When the system starts, inert gas is continuously introduced to purge the air until the entire system reaches the value set by the oxygen detector. Then, the automatic feeding device is activated to uniformly feed the raw materials from the hopper into the pulverizing chamber of the pulverizing unit. Compressed inert gas is then injected at high speed into the pulverizing chamber through specially configured supersonic nozzles. The material is accelerated in the supersonic jet stream and repeatedly impacts and collides at the nozzle intersection, achieving the pulverizing effect.
The pulverized material enters the classification chamber with the rising airflow. Particles that do not meet the size requirements are returned to the pulverizing chamber for further impact and pulverization. Fine particles that meet the requirements enter the classification wheel and are collected by the cyclone separator and dust collector. The inert gas returns to the compressor’s suction port, where it is compressed and recycled.
Highly versatile, the system allows for the selection of a suitable gas as the grinding medium based on the properties of flammable and explosive materials.
Inert gas is recycled, resulting in minimal consumption.
The inert gas purity error can be controlled within 1 PPM, and its content can be arbitrarily set.
Low wear and tear: Since the main grinding action is through particle-to-particle impact and collision, high-speed particles rarely collide with the walls, making it suitable for grinding materials with a Mohs hardness of nine or higher.
Wide grinding range: The system can be used for grinding materials within the range of d97 = 0.5-45 μm.
Utilizing an advanced touchscreen and programmable logic controller (PLC), the system achieves automated control.
This system is suitable for flammable, explosive, and easily oxidized materials.
The safety explosion-proof airflow pulverizing system is widely used for the ultrafine grinding of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, powder metallurgy materials, non-ferrous metals, hazardous chemicals, and materials prone to generating static electricity.
