What agricultural chemicals can sulfur powder be made into?

We all know that sulfur powder can play an irreplaceable role in industrial and medical use. As an important chemical product, industrial sulfur powder is widely used in chemical industry, pesticides, rubber, dyes, papermaking, light industry, etc. Various industrial sectors have provided these industries with considerable production convenience. In fact, what everyone does not know is that sulfur product powder can be processed and made into different agricultural chemicals, which is conducive to the healthy growth of agricultural crops. Let’s analyze which agricultural chemicals can be made from specific sulfur powder.

1. White paint. Add 0.5kg of the original solution (or sulphur powder) of the lime-sulfur mixture to the lime slurry made of 5kg of quicklime and 20kg of water, then add 0.5kg of salt and 0.1kg of animal and vegetable oil. When mixed well, it becomes a white coating agent (also known as a white cleaning agent). Brushing the stems of flowers and trees in early winter can not only prevent diseases and insect pests in the stems and bark cracks of flowers and trees, but also prevent the stems of flowers and trees from frostbite and sunburn.

2. Fumigant. Mix 200g of sulfur powder and 400g of dry wood chips (with chlorothalonil powder) to make an aerosol, which is used to smoke the main pests and diseases in flower beds or greenhouses. Used in greenhouses such as powdery mildew, aphids and whiteflies. Usually fumigation should be done before flowering.

3. Lime sulfur mixture. Prepare 0.5kg quicklime and 7.5kg water in lime milk, then slowly pour 1kg sulphur powder into the lime milk, mix it quickly while pouring to make it evenly mixed, then heat the mixture in a tile or iron pan until it boils 50 to 60 minutes, when the mixture is reddish-brown, filter the residue, the filtrate will be in a solution of lime sulphur (original) at about 25 Baume degrees (note: do not boil or fill in copper or aluminum containers). It can be used to control leaf spot, rust spots, powdery mildew, scaly insects, rust spots, red spider mites and more.

Sulfur product powder can be made into the above three agricultural chemicals after industrial processing, and can also play an irreplaceable and important role in agricultural production, but we should pay attention to controlling the amount of use of these chemicals to avoid adverse reactions Effect.
